Why this session??


While we don’t often photograph families, this wasn’t about “family photography.” This was about telling a love story—Josie and Glenn’s love for each other, and the joy of finally sharing that with their nieces. It was about connection, laughter, and creating something meaningful together.


Some couples just leave a lasting mark on your heart, and for us, Josie and Glenn are one of those pairs. From the way they look at each other to the way they make everyone around them feel loved, it’s clear their hearts beat in perfect sync.

Although their wedding day was beautiful, there was one thing missing—their two nieces, who couldn’t travel due to pandemic restrictions. So when the girls finally came to visit, it was the perfect excuse to create new memories together.


The park gifted us the dreamiest autumn weather—soft breezes, warm light, and delicate clouds diffusing the glow into something magical. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed couples photography session in Melbourne's northern suburbs.



Bubbles floated through the air as everyone laughed and played. A shy toddler peeked out from behind her dad’s legs, her big sister giggled as she blew bubbles towards Josie and Glenn, and the afternoon unfolded in those sweet, authentic in-between moments that we love to capture.

One of the highlights of this session was dusting off the vintage 35mm black and white film camera. Josie and Glenn were completely up for it, and the timeless quality of film gave their portraits a raw, emotional depth that perfectly matched the tenderness of their relationship.
