so what if it's raining?

SO often I hear brides say that the only thing that would ruin their wedding day is rain. Guess what?? it DOES NOT!

Rain makes for beautiful soft light, which means flattering photos. It means that you won't be squinting as you say your vows and it is certainly good luck, I was married in the rain over 35 years ago, and I'm still married!

Make sure you have a back up plan if you are having a garden wedding or elopement. Beatrice and Elias were lucky, because Carmel of Pink Ceremonies and Side by Side Elopements is well prepared with a roomy decorated gazebo to hold your wedding party AND umbrellas. The rain came and went at this beautiful Keysborough park for their wedding day, but it certainly couldn't dampen their love for each other and their enthusiasm to be married.

A simple ceremony, with their close family to witness was all that this gorgeous couple desired. So it was easy to capture their heartfelt emotion and joy, because it was so infectious. I've never seen a bigger sile on a bride, or a groom who cared so much about the promises that he was making. A few quick photos in the quiet little treasure of a park, and it was off to their favourite restaurant with a beautiful cake and a brand new marriage certificate.

Couples like Beatrice and Elias are the reason I continue with wedding photography. The understand how important the future of their relationship is, and choose to focus their energy and money there. All of the team here wish them a long lifetime filled with happily ever after and been bigger smiles than on their wedding day.
