Married in the Yarra Valley
Sage and Nick had a BEAUTIFUL late afternoon engagement photo session (you can look at those photos on THIS blog post), so come their beautiful spring wedding day, we were like old friends and it really showed in how relaxed everyone was, even with two photographers.
This was our first wedding with mixed gender attendant parties, and it was AWESOME! There is something so special about having the most important people stand next to you for your most important day, and the connection that these friends share was so obvious in their supportive love for an incredible couple.
Keeping it in the Family
Sage and Nick met at the Salvation Army church, where Sage's grandfather and parents are pastors. It was their grandfather's absolute delight to fly over from New Zealand to perform her ceremony, and their grandmother gave a beautiful reading to them both.
A good friend sang 'When you wish upon a star' while the register was being signed, keeping in with the Disney touches through out the wedding (did you see the little mushrooms on the aisle edges??)
