A side effect of running around the stage at concerts is that you meet music fans. This is one of the best things to happen to me, ever!
I count two of my closest Melbourne friends in the group of people I have met photographing concerts this year, we have so much in common, apart from loving live music. We are survivors, we love those who love us with a fierce passion, we are protective and we are supportive.

The amazing Ms N, a beautiful mother, courageous warrior and all round inspiration.
So, when Ms N asked me to photograph her beautiful daughter before she signed her American modelling contract, the only way I would agree was if she would make it a mother/daughter shoot. I SO wanted to help her realise that she is just as beautiful as her daughter.

The closeness of the mother daughter bond is something that I cherish, but hadn’t thought of capturing before. I am so grateful for this opportunity
I decided to spoil them both, as it was also Miss C’s 16th birthday, a makeup and hair artist were hired and we pulled out the entire studio wardrobe and played. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of the finished images.

Of course, no matter how much you love your mother, you have to have fun with her too!
Of course, with the close bond that these two ladies share, it wasn’t long before the shenanigans began, and truly, I think this is one of my favourite images from the entire shoot, so very genuine and fun, just like this family.
This was the first test for the new chocolate curtains in my intimate little studio, and I think they are working well, the texture is just lovely and the hazy look is exactly as wanted.

A collage of my favourite images from this session. Have a fabulous time in Hollywood Miss C!
