Some love stories aren’t linear. They twist, pause, drift, and circle back — not because they were lost, but because they were always finding their way home.

Shane and Guy have built a life together that feels deeply intentional. From the spark-filled moment they first met, to time spent walking separate paths, and then the quiet realisation that the universe had never stopped nudging them back together — their journey is one that proves love doesn’t rush. It waits. And when the timing is right, it arrives exactly as it’s meant to.

When it came time to plan their wedding day, Shane and Guy chose a place that already felt like home. Fondata 1872, beloved for its sweeping views, impeccable food, and warm, attentive service, was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding surrounded by their closest people.

They embraced an elegant black and white colour palette — timeless, understated, and deeply emotional. A choice that reflected not just their aesthetic, but the depth and calm confidence of their relationship.

This was never about excess. It was about meaning.

The ceremony, beautifully crafted and delivered by Fiona Garrivan, was one of those rare moments that holds everyone in the room. There was laughter, softness, reflection, and so much love woven into every word.

As Shane and Guy exchanged antique wedding rings, you could feel the weight of history and intention behind the moment. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight — and honestly, it was impossible not to be moved by the significance of it all.

After the ceremony, we wandered through the stunning grounds together. Just the two of them. A little space to breathe. To hold hands. To quietly acknowledge that something profound had shifted — that feeling you get when you finally get to say I do and the world feels just a little more aligned.

The rest of the day unfolded exactly as it should: returning to the table, sharing incredible food, cutting cake, and celebrating with the people who matter most.

This is why we love intimate weddings so deeply. They create space for connection. For presence. For moments that don’t need to be rushed or performed — just felt.
