best venue in the Dandy's
This gorgeous little venue, nestled at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, is one of our favourite venues. The staff are wonderful, the food and service is awesome, and there are so many incredible places for photographs! We LOVE that they have a chapel AND a gorgeous outdoor area set up for weddings, so weather isn't a problem on your day.
When we were asked to take over for a Tasmanian photographer, trapped by Covid 19, we couldn't say yes fast enough! Once we met with Sascha and Connor at their rehearsal we KNEW this would be an extraordinarily special day.
This gorgeous, incredibly in love couple met in high school and have shared many ups and downs and curve balls on the road to becoming man and wife. Being around them is so much fun, they laugh a LOT, Connor is known for breaking into awesome dance moves, and of course, they both dote on their gorgeous little boy.
Walking into their outdoor ceremony, I loved how they had added personal touches such as the confetti cone box and welcome sign to the Chateaus lovely decorations, making this family affair truly personal.
Connor told me that this was exactly the way Sascha and he had pictured their wedding, somewhere leafy and green, but still classy and elegant, and here they were, with beautiful autumn weather to complement their gorgeous day that was perfect in every way.
One of my favourite things about intimate weddings is that they lend themselves to beautiful tender moments, with genuine emotion. The couple are always a little more relaxed, and Sascha and Connor certainly had that wonderful vibe going for them.
