Bridal Boudoir. It’s one of my favourite things to photograph. The excitement of the beautiful bride to be is so contagious, the stunning lingerie they have chosen, the anticipation of giving their new husband such a personal and thoughtful gift. SO. MUCH. LOVE.
Miss A embodied everything that I love about photographing bridal boudoir, that amazing smile just got bigger and bigger as our session went on, it was so very thrilling to listen to her plans and dreams. I remembered when I first met her at Christmas time, what started out as a makeup client for a friends wedding early one sunday morning, quickly turned into a friendship on a personal level.
Like most brides, she had been dieting and was thrilled to show off her new figure, oh, how those curves wowed me! Her dress wasn’t ready for this session, so the final lingerie hadn’t been purchased, but we chose some cute and sassy items from the studio wardrobe and giggled our way through a wonderful session in our Melbourne Boudoir studio. Coupled with her amazing hazel green eyes, the effect was just stunning.
I plan to expand the bridal boudoir into boudoir hens nights, can’t you just imagine how much fun it would be to be pampered and photographed and then head out to celebrate a whole new lifetime of memories to be created??
The excitement and joy of anticipating a new life with her love really shone through in every image of Miss A.
