Some weddings just glow—not just from the sunshine, but from the strength and love between two people who have truly weathered life’s storms together. Lacey and Tom were married on a golden spring afternoon in a private garden tucked away in Gippsland, and their wedding was every bit as heartfelt and radiant as their relationship.
It was one of those beautifully warm Aussie days, and Lacey, ever the adventurer, arrived a little sun-kissed thanks to the 1965 Mustang convertible they’d rented for the weekend. That classic car wasn’t just a stylish ride—it was a tribute to Tom’s lifelong dream, and watching them cruise in together, grinning like kids, set the tone for a day that was as joyful as it was deeply meaningful.
Lacey and Tom have faced more than their fair share of challenges, but the way they turn to each other, every single time, is something we don’t have words for—it’s felt. A memorial in the garden honoured two of Lacey’s brothers, including her twin, who are no longer earthside. The weight of that loss was present—but so was the fierce love of their chosen family. After a ceremony full of emotion and honest-to-goodness love, guests headed to the nearby rebuilt Calignee Hall, where the reception unfolded like a love letter. Every corner held thoughtful DIY touches, from hand-painted signage to table settings that felt like home. There wasn’t a dry eye during their first dance—it was that kind of moment—but true to form, Lacey and Tom followed it up with a cake cutting full of giggles and a champagne spray race (with bottles, of course, supplied by us—because what’s a celebration without a bit of bubbly chaos?).
