A beautiful forest elopement
Karla and Adam had never really talked about marriage. Each of them thought the other wanted a big wedding—and the idea was just too overwhelming. Imagine their relief when they discovered our Side by Side Weddings winter forest elopement package and realised they were both dreaming of something simple, beautiful, and stress-free.
Eloping with us doesn’t mean missing out on special touches. Karla looked incredible in her dream wedding dress and flowing veil, complemented by our new whimsical blush bouquet from The Styled Bouquet, while we styled our favourite clearing with vine-covered candelabras and a soft rug to protect her gown. Their very best human friend stood proudly as their witness (puppies, sadly, aren’t allowed in the forest), while they shared rings, vows, kisses, and the sweetest of smiles. Nerves melted away, and in their place was joy—pure and simple.
After a celebratory bubbly spray for luck (our treat!), their witness cheekily suggested recreating some fun “photobomb” photos she’d seen online. We made it happen with the forest’s giant nests, keeping the surprise until delivery day. The laughter was absolutely worth it.
From there, we travelled to the Yarra Valley Pet Resort, where their beloved pup had been spoiled rotten by the staff. The reunion was full of tail wags and happy chaos—because what’s a wedding day without your furbaby?
