Snow and gorgeous gowns feel like a match made in magic. I’ve been trying to create this session for seven years — bad snow seasons, a pandemic, illness… the universe truly threw everything it had at me. But I didn’t give up. This year was my year. Almost at Mt Baw Baw, Jade casually mentioned she’d never actually seen snow before. Suddenly, this wasn’t just a photoshoot — it was her first snow experience. We’d pre-selected gowns and accessories from the studio collection (because preparation matters), and with our shared expertise in changing outfits in car parks, we were able to work fast, chase the light, and embrace the falling snow.
Yes, my hands turned blue. Yes, it was freezing. But Jade stayed warm — track pants and ugg boots cleverly hidden beneath her gown — and the result was pure magic.
