Some love stories are written in the stars, and Rebecca and Luis’s began around a campfire in Spain. Rebecca was on a hiking adventure when she met Luis, and the two bonded over hot chocolate beneath the night sky. As they stayed in touch after her return to Australia, Rebecca shared her passion for the Victorian High Country. Luis was captivated, and soon he knew he needed to see it for himself.
When he visited the following spring, he was entranced—not only by the sweeping landscapes of the Australian Alps, but also by the woman who had stolen his heart. During one of their hikes, Luis dropped to one knee with a stunning emerald ring passed down through his family. Rebecca said yes, and their adventure together truly began.
We returned to the site of their very first hike—Mt Buffalo, near Bright—for their engagement session. On a perfect spring day, we wandered trails, looked out across sweeping mountain views, and celebrated a love that feels as though it has spanned lifetimes, not just months. Every step showed the strength of their connection and the joy of their future together.
