E has been in front of my camera many times now, and somehow it’s never the same experience twice. Every session brings a different energy, a different story, a different spark — and I genuinely look forward to working with them every single time. Their presence inspires me. It challenges me creatively. It reminds me why I do this work.
This session, though, arrived with a little more weight.
E wasn’t feeling their usual powerful, magnetic self. Life has a way of chipping at confidence sometimes, and even with a partner loudly and lovingly reminding them “you are so fucking hot” every time they walked into the room, that doubt still lingered. You could see it in the way they entered the space.
And then… the shift.
A few glances at the back of the camera. A reminder of what I already see so clearly. The shoulders dropped, the eyes lit up, the energy changed. Creativity flowed. Confidence returned.
E was back, baby.
We played with both the light and the shadows in the studio — rich, intentional colour choices to emphasise strength, presence, and depth. This wasn’t about hiding. It was about owning every part of who they are right now.
For the black and white images, we switched out lighting and slowed everything down. These frames lean into emotion, texture, and that timeless, classic feel we both adore. No distractions. Just feeling. Just truth.
It was honest. It was joyful. And it was a bloody good time.
I cannot wait to do it all again.
