We love it when clients come back to us again and again. Aleisha had a BEAUTIFUL wedding at Williamstown Botanic Gardens, (see the blog post here) and we returned there for her Rock the Frock session, to take advantage of the gorgeous photo areas and the adjacent beach (and that blog post is here)
Then she called me to say she was expecting their second child, and could I photograph her maternity session? To be honest, it's a niche I never expected to go into, but there's something SO beautiful about pregnant women, and Aleisha has it in SPADES, so I readily agreed, because having her in front of my camera again was bound to be wonderful.
We started with hair and makeup in my home studio, and a few boudoir style images, then we headed out to a nearby playground, so her little one could be entertained as well as involved in the photo session. He really is too adorably cute for words and was an absolute joy to photograph.
Aleisha chose to wear one of her dark dusty pink bridesmaid multi way dresses, comfortable, beautiful and perfect colouring for her. I think I will have to buy some for the studio wardrobe!
